The right to parental leave

The right to parental leave is granted to employees who are the mother or father of a child or a person with formal parental responsibility for a child. Parents of children under the age of 5 are entitled to take unpaid time off work to care for a child. The employee must have at least 1 years continuous employment before they can take parental leave.
